When it will happen...

About a year ago, up in the RC

    One thing that has been taught through all of the history of the world, is of a time when every nation, kindred, tongue and people will know of Christ, and of the love of our Heavenly Father.  In the words of our Savior captures this universal gospel when He told "every nation", "every land", "uttermost bounds of the world", "every tongue", "every people", "every soul", "all the world", and "many lands"; being just a few examples of what He taught in scripture and told to the apostles and disciples. I know that Christ's church has been restored to the earth. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, through which we can be made clean and have joy. That God is our Heavenly Father, and never has He ceased to love all of His children.  Just as anciently, God continues to lead and guide His children today, and has called prophets to the earth.  And what is amazing is...
getting to be here as a missionary to get to teach others of these things.
     I have often thought of when the time will come that all will be able to know of Christ and His gospel, and over 30 years ago, the Prophet Spencer W. Kimball prophetically spoke of the time "when the world will be converted".  In the address that he gave, he said, "With the Lord providing these miracles of communication, and with the increased efforts and devotion of our missionaries and all of us, and all others who are 'sent', surely the divine injunction will come to pass: 'For, verily, the sound must go forth from this place unto all the world, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth-- the gospel must be preached unto every creature...'."  And in conclusion to his remarks, President Kimball said, "I think we must change our sights and raise our goals.....when we have used our qualified men to help the apostles to open these new fields of labor; when we have used the satellite and related discoveries to their greatest potential and all of the media-- the papers, magazines, television, radio [computers, internet]-- all in their greatest power.... then, and not until then, shall we approach the insistence of our Lord and Master to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

     It is of the greatest blessings to not only get to be here called of God to proclaim the message of the gospel, of Jesus Christ, God's plan of happiness, and the restoration, but to also be in the forefront of such a work, getting to use these technologies and resources that God has given to us here on the earth.  It is way awesome getting to teach people over the means of the internet and the phones, and how with the use of Facebook and Blog, to get to reach more people, to help them receive the blessings that our Father in Heaven is there to give.
